Case Introduction
This case focuses on a leading automotive component enterprise, which mainly produces automotive components and fasteners. The product variety and specifications are diverse, with different performance and uses, and high requirements for precision and standardization.
In the past, the company relied heavily on manual operations, which not only resulted in high labor costs, but also low efficiency in manually picking and unloading goods, as well as moving up and down the production line, making it difficult to meet production requirements.
To ensure efficient transportation of materials, the enterprise has introduced a flexible and intelligent logistics automation system, covering the automated transportation of materials in raw material processing areas and production packaging areas.
Counterbalanced Forklift MW-SE15 can carry a load of 1.5 tons and lift up to 3 meters. Based on Maiwei's self-developed laser navigation technology, deployment can be completed without modifying the on-site environment. Multiple vehicles can independently plan the optimal path and operate automatically throughout the entire process.
In addition, the WCS device control system has an open standard interface that can seamlessly integrate with WMS/ERP and other vendor systems. Through 5G networks, it can quickly respond to the communication needs of robots, sensors, backend networks, and other device systems.
WCS is connected to multiple production line systems, including automatic raw material discharge ports, processing machine receiving ports, feeding and discharging conveyor lines, roller conveyor lines, chain conveyor lines, etc. It is also connected to the vertical warehouse WMS system to achieve unified management of the entire equipment operation system.
Enterprises can dispatch unmanned forklifts through mobile terminal devices such as mobile phones and tablets, achieving logistics handling operations such as raw material inbound and outbound, finished and semi-finished product transportation, three-dimensional warehouse inbound and outbound, production line and offline, and connecting upstream and downstream equipment to achieve real-time transparency of information, efficient collaboration across workshops and floors, precise traceability of goods, and improved handling efficiency and accuracy.
Thanks to the good cooperation foundation and trust in the professional capabilities of Multiway Robotics in the first phase of the project, the automotive parts enterprise has recently teamed up with Maiwei Robotics to upgrade its factory and continue to deepen lean production management! By adding multiple robot vehicle clusters for scheduling, we can meet the logistics needs of the entire site and achieve breakthroughs in the automation upgrade of the entire logistics without stopping work or production.
